Ekiti State enjoys tropical climate with two distinct seasons, the rainy season (April-October) and the dry season (November-March). Temperature ranges between 21 and 32 C with high humidity. The south western wind and the northeast trade winds blow in the rainy and dry seasons respectively. Tropical forest exits in the south, while savannah occupies the northern peripheries, thereby giving the State comparative advantages in the production of some crops and livestock.

Ilasa Yam Conditioning Facility
Ilasa Yam Conditioning Facility is temperature regulating chamber for storage of agricultural produce most suitable for yam tubers.
The facility is built on 5.042 hectares of land with the building made up of the conditioning chamber, loading bay, offices and ancillary equipment at the back. It is built in the heart of yam producing environment of Ilasa yam producing axis.

Ikun Dairy Farm
Ikun Dairy Farm Limited is jointly owned by Promosidor and the Government of Ekiti State (represented by FHL). In line with the investment philosophy of the Government of Ekiti State, a strategic partnership was secured with Promasidor Nigeria Limited to reposition the facility. The Special Purpose Vehicle, IDFL has presently attained substantial progress with 174 cows on the farm, additional 430 exotic cows are presently expected on the farm and it is projected that the facility will produce 10,00 litres of milk daily at full operational capacity. Fountain Holdings has also entered into partnership agreement with the renowned Company,Promasidor Limited who are currently the major stakeholder for proper efficiency
